Welcome to Video #2 in the Shift Your Life Video Series. 

In video number #1,  I talked about movement as a way to create a shift in your life. Movement involving exercise or moving your body in some shape or form. 

Today, just like in the first video we are going to have another simple and easy thing that you can do. Ultimately, it can create a shift in your life that may initially be a baby step to help you get to where you want to get to. 

Today's idea is consuming more water. I know for myself when I become more aware of the amount of water I am drinking, I have lost weight, had more energy, slept better and not craved junk food or sugar as much. It is beneficial from a health perspective and at the same time my head is clearer. I am not as stressed. I am able to make more informed decisions. Drinking more water can be a simple and easy thing to become more aware of to help you bring a shift in your life towards your goals and dreams. 

You can find a whole variety articles online about the benefits of drinking more water. The old thinking around drinking 8 ounces 8 times per day has changed. The Mayo Clinic in the U.S. states that men on average should consume 3 litres per day and women 2.2 litres per day. 

I would encourage you to consider drinking more water and reducing caffeine and alcohol consumption. As you are doing this, you can write down anything you notice that is happening as you make this shift over time.
